At this time of year it is ‘storm riding’ season. Expect cold temperatures and snowy or stormy conditions. Frequent storms mean that you will often spend back-to-back days riding in the trees.

You can expect regular storms, however the weather is more settled which opens up more locations and terrain choices, including Asahidake. Temperatures sit well below freezing and the snow stays in great condition.
